The design of necessity, as Ernesto Oroza describes, overcomes the aesthetic authority of objects through improvisation, invention, reinvention, and repair. Perhaps we should approach objects as many Latinamericans do. These illustrations can perhaps introduce us to the concept of technological disobedience.

Hailing from Austin, TX, For Hours and Ours is a band of longtime-brothers whose sound is inspired by a wide-range of influences that sum up to angsty vocals about lost love and growing up, backed with atmospheric, ethereal, and sometimes noisey pop. I was honored to make the poster fo their farewell show.
